Story #1
A Mad Tea Party

Cain and Riff head to the Mayfield mansion to attend a party hosted in honour of Victoria Mayfield, Baron Mayfield's only daughter. Instantly upon entry Cain dislikes Victoria and takes a shine to Victoria's friend Alice. When Victoria and Alice's friend Edith is found decapitated in the garden it all kicks off. Standing over the body is a man wearing a white rabbit mask. Cain persues the killer but doesn't manage to capture him. Cain is injured in the fight. Victoria and Alice come to the conclusion that the killer is after them, having killed their two friends. These four friends had a tea party together.
Cain and Riff stay the night. Cain and Alice share an intimate moment. During the night Victoria tries to seduce Cain, and Cain offends her by accusing her of only trying to marry into his family. The white rabbit - the killer - tries to murder Alice. Cain manages to rescue her and persue the killer - who he knows the identity of due to pollen being in the murderer's hair when he took off the mask. None of the flowers in the mansion are pollenated, but primroses outside where the White Rabbit escaped were.
Baron Mayfield is exposed as the killer - wanting to punish his daughters 'friends' for insulting his family over rumours of bankruptcy at the tea party. Mayfield reveals that during that tea party the four friends argued and in the fight Victoria plunged a cake knife into Lorina - the fourth friend -'s throat. Mayfield called a family doctor to hypnotise the three remaining girls into forgetting all about it, and then set about cutting off Lorina's head and letting himself seen as the White Rabbit to arouse suspicion. The hypnosis won't last forever, so Mayfield is trying to silence Edith and Alice for good. Mayfield used a narcotic drug to heighten is emotions so he could kill.
Cain poisons Mayfield with a paralysing drug while he questions him.
The sun begins to rise. Cain leaves Mayfield alone. Mayfield realises he can move and decides to finish off Alice. He struggles upstairs to the hall where Victoria, Alice, Riff and Cain are staying. The doors to the rooms all have portraits of Alice In Wonderland characters on them. He enters the Alice room where Alice is staying and cuts off Alice's head.
When the sun rises Mayfield realises - to his horror - that he has not killed Alice, but instead killed his daughter Victoria. Cain had switched the portraits on the doors.
Mayfield kills himself in grief.
Cain and Riff leave for home the next day. Alice thanks Cain for saving her - she fancies him - but he passes her off and heads home.

A Little Crooked House: Part #1

Mary Weather is fed up with her tutoring and takes her anger out on her tutor, Madame Flemming. Mary Weather points out that Flemming hinted at Mary Weather not being well liked because Flemming often said her daughter was much better liked. Madame Flemming runs off in tears.
Cain returns home from Baron Mayfield's party to find an angry Mary Weather.
